- Food inside the campus are expensive, Restaurant and other hotels

Internships Opportunities
Some companies which visit for placements are Amazon, Infosys, TLC, There will be a major project in final year which is the most important project, some small projects will be coming from 3rd yr , Assignments and small quiz are conducted every semester
Placement Experience
Placements of our college is average , The average package is almost 400000 per annum. I will prefer to take placements from outside campus by own. U may also go for further studies after the degree. My plans are too take placement from outside.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fee almost Rs.36000 /yr, Tution fees Rs.1680/yr, Registration fee Rs.200,Caution fees- 2000, Lab fee-720/yr, ID card Rs.100 Development fee Rs.7200. Later on in coming years the fees will be less. My batchmates also pay same fees almost. For Scholarship we will have to apply seperately by own. I have applied for ST scholarship.
Campus Life
The varsity of nehu is like one festival in campus, The general freshers , The library is rich in books . Facilities in classroom is average , In some room projectors works and in some room doesn't. Sports and extracurricular activities are best in campus, Many sports leagues are organised in month to month , Many Clubs are there Eco club , Dance club, Music club
Hostel Facilities
Free wifi , Rooms are average in condition with one balcony. The rooms are shared room with 3 students per room. Meal quality is average sometime good sometimes bad. Registration process for hostel is easy will be knowing when you will visit the campus.
Admission
I have applied to this. College because I wanted to pursue an Undergraduate degree, we can be admitted by giving jee examination for Btech course , Then go for the Josaa/Csab councelling. They conduct a separate councelling called Nehu councelling,
Faculty
The faculty are good to students, They are free to student , Faculties are too helpful and cheerful. Our ECE faculty are good and reachable. There are 2 Mid term exams in per sem, 1 lab Mid term , End sem Lab examinations , Theory End sem exam
Night Life
There is one gym which is near the health centre only, Gym is average, Many outlets to eat but somewhat overpriced. Nehu Library is the biggest Library in whole Meghalaya. Famous places like Lake side, Nehu falls. It's safe to roam around night. The in time for UG Students is 8 pm for every hostel. For PG it's 9 pm
