VSSUT B.Tech + M.Tech Electrical Engineering + Power System: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The college admits students based on their JEE Main exam rank through the OJEE counseling process. The timeline involves JEE Main results in April, followed by the All India Rank publication in June, with applications made via the OJEE website. Document verification occurs at nodal centers, and after a temporary merit list, students can withdraw applications and receive a fee refund. Final merit lists and admission dates are announced in August, with document verification and fee submission through demand drafts.

Faculty members are well-qualified, experienced, and supportive, with each department led by a head. Annual fees, including boarding, range from 70,000 to 75,000 INR, while day scholars pay about 45,000 INR. Fees are collected at the semester's start, except first-year fees paid at the academic year's beginning. Mid-year fee increases can challenge students using study loans. Placement opportunities have declined, with less than thirty companies visiting annually, leaving some students without offers due to an uneven distribution across branches.

The college does not provide internships. Students can access various scholarships like PRERANA, E-MEDHABRUTI, Medhabruti, Pradan, and others, with document verification at the start. GATE-qualified M.Tech students receive monthly scholarships. The Tuition Fee Waiver scheme and loan facilities are also available.
