Amity Jaipur Ph.D. (French) PT Admission 2026

Amity University Jaipur accepts applications for the Ph.D. (French) Part Time program twice a year, for January and July sessions. The selection process involves the Amity PhD Entrance Test (APET) followed by an interview conducted by the Faculty Research Committee (FRC). Candidates with valid UGC-NET/JRF or other national-level qualifying exam scores in the relevant field are exempted from APET and need to appear only for the interview. Eligibility Criteria

• Master's degree (M.A.) in French from a recognized Indian or foreign university with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Alternatively, a four-year Bachelor's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent CGPA (direct admission in Full Time mode only).
• A relaxation of 5% marks is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled/EWS candidates as per UGC regulations 2022.
• Working candidates applying for Part Time mode must submit an Employment Verification Certificate (EVC) at the time of form filling and an NOC from their employer at the time of joining.

Admission Process

• Fill and submit the online application form at amity.edu/phd (hard copies not accepted).
• Pay the application fee of Rs. 1,500 online via Credit/Debit card.
• Upload required documents: passport-size photograph, Class X marksheet, Post-Graduation marksheet, Preliminary Research Idea (max 1,000 words), and Employment Verification Certificate (for Part Time applicants).
• Check the Admission Microsite for shortlisting status and select a PET date.
• Appear in APET (90 minutes, 100 MCQs, no negative marking) - Section 1: General Aptitude (50 marks) + Section 2: Subject Specific - French (50 marks). UGC-NET/JRF qualified candidates are exempted.
• Qualified candidates appear for an Interview by the Faculty Research Committee (FRC).
• Selected candidates receive an admission letter on the Admission Microsite within two days of selection.
• Pay fees and submit NOC from employer within one month of selection to complete enrollment.

Amity Jaipur Ph.D. (French) PT Scholarships 2026

Amity University offers the prestigious Amity Research Fellowship (ARF) for full-time PhD scholars, providing a monthly stipend of Rs. 37,000 (Rs. 4.44 Lakhs per year). However, this fellowship is exclusively for Full Time PhD scholars and is not available for Part Time candidates. Part Time PhD scholars at Amity Jaipur may explore government scholarships and fellowships such as UGC-JRF, CSIR-JRF, and state government research fellowships. Additionally, Amity University provides fee concessions to Amity academic/non-academic staff and national-level fellowship holders.
