In the final semester of their post-graduation, students are eligible for placement opportunities, assisted by faculty members with connections to reputable companies and universities, such as Curtin University in Malaysia. Placement prospects depend on student performance and involvement in departmental activities, with faculty occasionally covering travel and food expenses. The program provides numerous internships, particularly in industrial sectors such as cement and mining. As part of the M.Sc Applied Geology program, all students must complete a project during their second year, with faculty support available for project work.
The tuition fee for the program is 7,000 per year for the first year and 7,500 per year for the second year. The university also offers various scholarships to students, including those from state and central governments, ONGC, BC MBC, and minority scholarships.
