Placement facility is one of the best in the country. Most of the peer company join the placement season. Placement cell works hard throughout the year to gather all possible opportunities. Also if one plans for higher study in peer institute abroad , then the institute provides proper references and facilities to gather necessary requirement for application and selection.
Yes. There are summer and winter internship programs related to particular field of research. One can get around 4000 to 8000 for undergraduate and 10000 to 15000 for post graduate internship.

Yes college provides internship. I haven't done because it was for btech students and not for us. Stipend amount as I mentioned earlier is 12,400 Rs per month.
As far as I know, all of them got somewhere, either higher studies or decently placed. No idea about highest and lowest package. The companies include AB InBev, Reliance, AmEx and many more. Finance, consulting and many startups also came apart from core companies
. College do provide internship programs as well and the companies give internship free and without any hesitation it's a great experience to work in a big big companies which were recommended by our institution the average stipend amount is 9000
The placements can be divided into two categories: the first is core and the second is non-core. My seniors got the placements in different profiles in different companies here. For example, one of my seniors got placed in Flipkart for 22 lakhs per annum package in the coding profile, and another senior got placed in Goldman Sachs for 20 lakhs per annum in the finance profile. Generally, the average package of non-core profiles would be 10-12 lakhs per annum.
Provide many intern ship programs. I am feeling lucky and experience is awesome.stipend is 3500/-.learned many things there. Regarding internships, all the non-core companies come for taking the interns. Many people also get internships directly through professors, so the exact percent is not known.

The placement here at IIT Madras is is one of those things which anyone don't ask , they get it what they had never imagined. The placement here are starting from 20 lakh per annum going to above than 75 lakh . In fact all of the major companies visit the campus for taking the students to get in the job as soon as possible.
Yes the college do provide the internships for everyone. In fact it provides the internships for foreign so that the student can learn each and every thing they want and can have a great experience there .
The placements in the Institute are excellent with the placement percentage of 80.6% for BTech students and 90.6% for dual degree students.
The college does provide internship ,however I am still not a part of any internship. The average stipend amount is about 70,000 for PhD research scholars.
The placements are excellent. Almost 70 % gets placed every year. Major companies like Amazon, Flipkart etc comes here. I have not heard anything about Google or Microsoft this year, but i'm sure that they'll come around. The average package is around 12-15 LPA.
Being a fresher, we're not been provided any internships yet.
Pretty bad from what I hear from batch mates and seniors. Since I am not sitting for placements I can't say, but it seems like a scam. ALL the exams take place in a very unprofessional way and the resume shortlists are kinda random. But compared to other colleges, some big companies at least show up.
Yes they do at the end of your third year. Internships are pretty easy to get and since they have made it compulsory to do one, everyone finds one way or another to get it done. I was one of the lucky ones who ended up in an FMCG, so got paid well. But generally one can expect the living expenses to be covered and if one is thrifty, may even save 5-6k
Thanks for your valuable feedback. Our team will look into it.
