- Some of them are very kind and teach the things very easily.
- Amazon, tcs, accenture, lnt, infosys, and all other important companies are here to provide more opportunities for all the best students.
- Sastra university has excellent infrastructure and the social life was very peaceful and joyful the library is fantastic.
Dislikes
- Fests and other activities will be less and very bad actually
- About the syllabus its little bit tough to crack the exam.
- The rent is very cheap but being a non vegetarian the vegetarian food was not good for me .

Since I am still studying I am not aware of the placement procedures but from my senior I heard some things.i can share it
From 3 rd year they will start pre placement training.
Lots of IT companies will visit
For my department 2-3 companies is hiring

- The facilities are great with high end equipments if you are gojng to opt for research as a career.
- The campus is huge with good cafeteria. People are good You will meet various kinds of people
- The classrooms are a good one. The library is so vast with so many books
Dislikes
- The dress code and the differences between boys and girls
- We didnt got any non veg foods,But the veg foods were good and student friendly i.e affordable
- The hostels are very strict if you are a gir. for a boy i think it is tolerable.
Placement Experience:
The placemnets were pretty good from biotech companies like Dr. REddys and some other small non research companies. A lot of people got admitted, Also the staffs or your mentor will continuously share details of recruitments in whatsapp group. But the con was that it will all be in southern parts of India only

- Most of the Faculties are very knowledgeable and very interactive they will always be ready make u to understand the concepts rater than making you to prepare for the exam. Many of the faculty here will be doing many researches and they hold patents.
- Quality of education is very good at sastra, the lab facilities and the equipments at sastra are very good. The way sastra concentrate more on labs, researches is very intriguing. Even students can join under any faculty and can learn anything
- The college life will be very good if u have some friends who matches ur vibe. It will be very fun with them if u can enjoy in campus after clases and at hostel. There will be 2 cultural events per year, they are good to enjoy without expectations.
Dislikes
- The one thing i dont like in the college is the food. It wont be too good or too bad. Food is something if u have to adjust with and its completely veg. You cant complain about food because the mess fee is very less so cant expect too good food
- Restrictions for girls are something i feel like that could change. Girls will only be given two outings per semester and every day they should reach hostel by 6 30.
- I feel there can be even more cultural activities at sastra
Placement Experience:
The students should be maintaining a minimum cgpa of 7 and a cgpa of above 8 will be good enough for any company. Many companies usually visit the university offering placements. The highest package is around 32lpa and the average will like 6 or 8 lpa.

- The timings for the classes is very convenient
- The batchmates are very helpful and good.
- The university campus is also nice and beautiful

- They didn't calculate the marks properly
- My internal marks didn't get add in the semester 1 results
- They will take more than enough time to take actions in such cases.
Course Curriculum Overview:
As per my opinion, the course curriculum neither good nor bad.
It should be more elaborating, but in such a way so that we can get to understand the topic easily.
And will perform in the exams with our 100% of knowledge

- The way students are divided into different classes not based on merit
- Hostel fees is very cheap compared to any other college. It is 16k for girls and varies from 20k-25k for boys
Dislikes
- Research scholars when given a class to teach, absolutely destroy the experience and understanding of the subject
Placement Experience:
There is campus placements in sastra. In fact most of the students gets placed through campus placements from what I have heard from my seniors. Main recuters are PayPal. Paypal offered highest package of 44 low in 2024

- The best thing about college is its faculty members they cooperate you in every matter and helps you in many situation.
- Placement of college is good as compare to other private colleges and better than others so this is also a plus point for joing sastra
- You enjoy your college life by making nee friemds in colege and enjoy hostel life also
Dislikes
- But as a north indian student there is difficulty in language barrier
- Difficulty to adjust in food and mess food is averge but you cant do nothing because mess is compulsory for hostel students
- There is also tamil people make tamil friemds some persons are good depend on your nature
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students are eligible for placement
there are total 250 to 300 companies visited every year
Highest package is around 36lpa
and average package is around 7-8lpa
90% student get placed from sastra every year
my plan after getting degree is to going for higher studies

From 3rd year,6th semester students can appear in placement interviews. Interviews from many companies happens throughout this period. 60 to 70% students get placed and balance will be going for PG studies. My plan after graduation will be looking for jobs or get placed in college itself

Placements here is Decent when compared to Other colleges.
According to this year Average Package is 4.5 LPA
And the Highest package is 32 LPA
Placements training will be start for students in 3rd Year itself.

- I like the infrastructure of my college.... buildings , labs, gardens.
- I like the food here .... the canteens food is great at very low price.
- cultural and technical fests are very fun and interesting.
Dislikes
- extremely tight schedule...and have to maintain attendance of 80 percentage.
- holidays given only on the festivals followed and accepted by the college management.
- lot of unnecessary additional work is given.

in the 7th sem the students are eligible for placements. Prominant companies like ....Bosch, TCS, Infosys, IFB, Goldmann, Paypal etc are regular companies which take students from SASTRA. Highest offered package has gone upto 30lpa and average being 7lpa. Lot of efforts are made from the management side o bring in more companies. My paln is to write civil service exams

- The academic ambience is pretty good, some of the professors in my stream (Biotech) help/motivate you to find your rythmn and to give advice regarding competitive exams and placements
- The Academic lab facilities are up to the mark and experience in the established research labs offer a pathway to academia. There are research labs covering all disciplines (Sciences, Engineering etc)
- Syllabus of most branches cover the GATE syllabus, ensuring that a large number of candidates are GATE Qualified.Adequate preparation for placements given by the department of training and placements
Dislikes
- While the hostel facilities are good and affordable, the quality of mess food of okay at its best.
- Weather at the campus is pretty harsh at summer, leading a lot of heat related problems like exhaustion, dehydration and heat strokes
Placement Experience:
The students are eleigible to sit for placements from their 7th semester having a minimum CGPA of 6.5. Top companies like Wells Fargo, Freshworks, TCS, Zoho and other domain specific companies all visit the campus and offer upto 15LPA if the candidate is hired. The placement percentage is around 80%. My plans would be pursue PhD abroad upon the completion of my degree.
