Likes
- Some of them are very kind and teach the things very easily.
- Amazon, tcs, accenture, lnt, infosys, and all other important companies are here to provide more opportunities for all the best students.
- Sastra university has excellent infrastructure and the social life was very peaceful and joyful the library is fantastic.
Dislikes
- Fests and other activities will be less and very bad actually
- About the syllabus its little bit tough to crack the exam.
- The rent is very cheap but being a non vegetarian the vegetarian food was not good for me .

Placement Experience:
The students from semester 6,7 and 8 are eligible for campus placements. There are many large scale industries and small scale industries come for placements. Every year around 70 to 90 percent of the students are placed better. And few students placed with excellence.

- Faculties are good, most are IIT graduates
- There are no boys and girls partiality by faculties
- There are no strict rules for hostel, you can enjoy however you want without disturbing others
Dislikes
- You cannot bring non-veg inside the campus and hostel
- There are many hidden fees like breakage fine, lab breakage fine,etc which is charged for everyone
- They are investing most of students money into research and not providing much facilities
Placement Experience:
Students from 5th or 6th semester are eligible for placements. Highest package was 42 lpa and average package was 6 lpa. 90% of students are getting placed. I am planning to complete my degree and go to abroad for my higher studies

- Professors are well knowledged and skilled
- Infrastructure is quite good, there will be some constructions happening throughout the year

- Very strict in terms of attendance and leaves
- Caste dominant environment where some of the high position are decided based on caste
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is well designed for us according to what the industry expects (although they don't invite companies for placement) and also it helps students to grab opportunities for higher education.

From the 4th year students are eligible for campus placement the highest package is in our course is 240000 and percentage is 9.4cgpa my plan is getting job and placed in good company the placement is good but more placement is not available

Third year and final year students are eligible for placements..A large number of recruiters have visited our campus.. Highest salary is around 1 crore.. 95 percentage of the students get placed here... My plan is to get placed in a good company

- Placement is very good tnp team is hard working.
- Even companies like Amazon and paypal came with package of 33 lpa
- Good infrastructure with all amenities and cleanliness.
Dislikes
- Very strict hostel rules and closing time to early
- No facility of air conditioning in hostel
- Very strict faculties in electronics department
Placement Experience:
Placements are started from 3rd year. Many companies like Amazon, wells Fargo, paypal, Comcast, delloite, tcs , and 150+ companies comes for placements. Highest package was of paypal -33lpa and lowest tcs 3.3 lpa. 60-70% students placed

- Parking is not good
Course Curriculum Overview:
There is practical application of concepts which have been tought in the college.
There are great applications for real world
The developments to be done is updating the building, using high eqiped or updated equipment in labs
In every month there would be exams

- Selection of faculty is student wish. They can choose any avaliable one they want.
- Good infrastructure.Well equipped labs with latest softwares avaliable.
- Nice campus with big grounds and good environment.
Dislikes
- Food is quite average but it is okish but could be better.
- No AC in hostels and classrooms it is quite hot in thanjavur so it will be good if ac is provided.
- Wifi speed is slow and it could be improved.

From 5th sem students will be eligible to sit for placements and in 3rd year students will get intern cum pre placement offer.
Many companies visited and approximately 1200 offers rolled out last year this year count is still going on.
60 percent students are getting placed.
I like to do job after getting degree.

- Sastra university has good infrastructure.
- It gives good placements for people who do well in college.
- It is affordable and worth for it's fees

- The mess quality could be improved and can be made more hygenic
- It also has strict rules which are strictly implemented.
- The timings of college are very lengthy.
Placement Experience:
Sastra is known for its placements and many companies come here for freshers. Placements also depends on a students skills and cgpa. Sastra also supports students with higher studies as an option. All branches of engineering are placed for most part.
