Placement -

Job opportunities differ according to prior work and academic profile. And there are sufficient options for profile across all the sectors. i.e Marketing, Finance, Operations. But placement season is highly competitive, you need to be on the toe and your best to compete among best in the world.

Yes, they do provide internship. We can not disclose stipend as per the rules. But profile they provide is diverse.

A roller coaster ride

Placement -

All major players in different domains came to college, ranging from top conglomerates to startups. Major companies offer sales and marketing jobs. Consulting companies also provide internships and pre placement offers. There is a 100 percent placement.


Internship -

General stipend averages around 65-80k per month. There is 100 percent placement and most of us manage to get their dream company.

Placement opportunities are provided 3 times in the year- summer internship placements, HEPP for people with minimum work-ex and final placements. The placements in all three sets are satisfactory and bring together the entire student community to give their best.

Life at IIM L

Placement -

Placements, similar to internships, happen over a span of 4-5 days during which the entire batch of 450-500 students gets placed. A variety of companies across all domains, namely, consulting, marketing, finance, operations, e-commerce, etc. visit the campus for placements.


Internship -

Yes, IIM Lucknow does provide internships to the entire batch. Usually the batch gets placed within 4-5 days and the average stipend is roughly between 50,000-60,000 per month.

Skill and Personality Development in more ways than one

Placement -

I have gone through the summer placements process only. 450+ students were placed in the process. For marketing, there were top FMCG companies like HUL, ITC, P&G, consulting there were BCG, ATK, finance there were CitiBank, DBS, Standard Chartered, JP Morgan and for general management there were TAS, ABG, RPG.


Internship -

The campus provides summer internship opportunities to the students. The experience is hectic but fun at the same time.
