JIIT Noida Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I am Sarthak Garg, a student at Jaypee Institute Of Information Technology currently in my 2nd year B.Tech in electronics and communication branch. According to our vice chancellor Mr V.C Saxena and seeing past records JIIT have a 97% placement rate. The highest package from the college is 55lakhs per annum and the lowest package is 3-4 lakhs per annum. The Average package of the college is 6-7 lakhs per annum for all the branches in the college. Top Recruiting companies are amazon, adobe, ZS associate, and TCS. Internships are very less in our college as there are so many students for internships so the college is unable to provide that. I do not sit in placements till now because I am a 2nd year student so I did not know about the roles. From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. I do a job after getting the degree.

The campus placement is good but only for students of CSE and ECE because most companies allow students of both branches to sit, but for biotech, there are only some companies that recruit students for research.

From the 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Adobe, Google, De Shaw, Intuit, CISCO, Wipro, TCS, Infosys and there are many offers. The highest package was 43.88 lakhs and the average package was around 7-8 lakh for CSE. 99% of students were placed. Doing a job in good product based company.

After 5th-semester student starts sitting for placement and internships when I visited for the offline exam I met seniors which told us that they got easily placed after 6th semester and the minimum criteria for placement is 7cgpa

Paid internships start from 3rd year and major placements take place from 4th year. Many international and national big companies including Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Adobe etc come here to give high packages. Last year highest package offered was around 57 lakhs.

Students are elegible for placement after 3rd year. There are many companies that visit like Amazon, Adobe, Deshaw etc. Highest package is around 50 lakh. Around 95% students get placement. My plan is to do a job and after getting experience do MBA from abroad.

In college placements, Jaypee have the advantage of location. It is in the industrial areal, electronic city so a lot of companies come here. Almost every big and small company comes for placements. College placements are also good enough considering Pvt colleges. The avg. Placement packages range between 8-10lac and many students get offers in the 10-15 lac bracket. IT branch has highest avg placement due to less number of students.

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. All mainstream companies offer placement opportunities. Highest package went upto 54 lacs per annum, the average was 7 lacs per annum. 98% of the students got placements.

Jiit is always known for there placements. All the big companies like Amazon, Adobe, de shaw, Google, Deloitte, E & Y visit our campus every year around 60% of the students are placed at good companies and the other 30-35% are placed at mass recruitment ( 3-6 lacs). The highest package this year was 54 lacs per anum by Adobe. There are many students who don't take a placement and go for MBA or MTech from big institutions like iims or foreign institutes. The average package is around 10 lacs for cse and 8 lacs for ece.
