Is NEET UG mandatory for MBBS admission at TMU?

Yes. NEET UG is compulsory for MBBS and BDS admission at TMU. All seats, whether state quota, management quota, or Jain minority quota, are allotted through UPDGME and MCC counselling based on NEET UG rank. No direct admission is possible without a valid NEET score.

How many MBBS seats does TMU have in 2026?

TMU holds NMC approval for 250 MBBS seats for 2026-27. This was expanded from 150 seats in 2024-25. Of these, 15% (roughly 37 seats) go to All India Quota through MCC. The remaining 85% are allotted through UPDGME UP state counselling.

What NEET rank is needed for MBBS at TMU?

The 2025 General category closing rank (state quota, Round 5) was approximately 627,920. Jain minority quota candidates secure seats at a significantly lower rank. The 2026 cutoff will depend on NEET UG 2026 results and UPDGME seat matrix after counselling.

Which entrance exams does TMU accept for B.Tech admission?

TMU accepts JEE Main and CUET scores for B.Tech admission. Candidates without JEE Main or CUET scores can also apply on Class 12 PCM percentage merit. No separate TMU-level entrance test is required for engineering programmes.

What is the total B.Tech fee at TMU?

Total B.Tech course fees range from INR 3.24 lakh to INR 5.38 lakh across all specialisations for four years. For CSE, tuition is INR 67,500 per semester. Merit scholarships and JEE Main rank-based waivers can reduce tuition by 10% to 90%.

What is the MBA admission process at TMU?

MBA candidates must hold a graduation degree and a valid CAT, CMAT, or MAT score. Selection assigns 80% weightage to the entrance score and 20% to the personal interview. A high CAT or CMAT percentile can also earn a tuition waiver of up to 100%.

Does TMU offer a Jain minority quota for MBBS?

Yes. TMU is a Jain minority institution. Jain community candidates can apply for the minority quota seats within the UPDGME UP state counselling process. The minority quota cutoff is considerably lower than the General category state quota cutoff. Carry Jain community documentation for the counselling process.
