I choose IT(Information Technology) course because job opportunities are very high with a good package and also with less competition among students. The student teacher ratio is good enough and also they are highly qualified and educated, their teaching ability is also good so that students don't feel boring in class.
Placement is a relative thing which depends on the market, so it varies from year to year. Not as great as IIT but hey, you pay 10,000/4 years considering that, the infrastructure and faculties that we get access to is pretty great. Others faculties are also good as my department like electrical, production, chemical etc. The placement scenario is quite good, both in software and core companies of respect it department, an immerse scope of research and at the same time all round development. The infrastructure of study and syllabus are also updated, being a part from Ju I can personally assume that it is one of the elite most Institute of the country and has been proved so in NAAC ranking as well.
Fee is very nominal. For engineering less than 10000 is the tution fee. Other semester and charges are also very nominal. Every one can afford studying here. This is the cheap and best college in entire india. Hostel and mess charges are also very less.
Curriculum is well organised and strict weightage is given on core subjects. Code club is also present for getting accustomed to coding environment and perform well in placements. Competitive programming is also done in this club. Apart from this seniors also help in placements.
The fee structure of the college is extremely feasible for every person with merit, desiring to attain quality education. I completed 4 yrs of my education with 9. 6k. That's it. No additional cost. No one can attain admission with kind. It's purely merit based & there's complete transparency in fee-breakdown.
The curriculum focuses mainly on conceptual build up rather than rot learning. It covers almost everything specific to the course, that'll be relevant to anyone interested in pursuing a future in the relevant subjects. The best thing is the early nurturing of a research based mindset of the students. The curriculum is flexible enough for students to either pursue research interests, or pursue a course relevant to his/her interests. The standard of a large number of courses are at par with the IITs, while some others are not. Overally, the way things were taught & nurtured have a major role in building my career.
The cheapest engineering college in Asia I think. The fees were 200 rupees per month when I studied. Add to it, were exam fees, which were somewhere around 150 rupees annually. The college basically runs on various grants from the Government and believes in education for all.
Course Curriculum, when we graduated, was a bit backdated. However, the same has been revised the next year and the same has been upgraded. We did not have MATLAB or AUTOCAD and had to learn and do design and drawing all manual. This seemed odd. Exams are oldschool, with little or no involvement of digitalization.
The fee structure is very low anyone can afford it. You have to pay just 11, 000 rupees for your four years course in engineering. Hostel fees are also low just 10 rupees per month. In college many types of scholarships are available based on your academics, family income, need etc. You do not have to pay for tuition fees or infrastructure fees, you have to pay just the exam fees.
The course is basically job oriented and if anyone wants to research then he/she must do that. Jadavpur University is one of the top institutions across the country in research. JU publishes a number of research papers every year. JU provides a number of degrees like Bsc, Msc, BA, MA, PhD etc.
Fees structure of my colleage is feasible. Ther r no additional fees to be paid to secure my course. That is dependent on entrance ranking and student choice. College don't provide transparency in the Fee break down. In my university it is under students union they maintain fees. The fees is low.
Jadavpur University is a famous University in india. Many people are spread all over the country from Jadavpur University. it's teaching structure is very good. Here teachers r good. and the most important is. they focus on practical that help us a lot. The practical equipment is modern. Total 4 year course. Each year 2 semester occurred.
One of the best in the country. The professors are really qualified and all of them teach reall well. The curriculum is not that well updated, but its still relevant. Since most of the students are the CREAM of the state, so academics is bound to be good. Maximum students either bag high salary jobs during placements, or they go for higher education to premier institutes of the country and abroad.
The course syllabus is vast and very detailed. It includes every concept that the respective subject has got in UG level, and is much advanced than the normal B. Tech course offered by other colleges across India. The industrial exposure is not provided to students, rather the students have to find their own industrial training courses. The faculties in our department are excellent (except a few) and are very helpful and friendly. They teach each and every concept very efficiently and make it interesting.
The syllabus was up to date. Yes, we were providing industrial experience. I am in now 1st year so i don't have the full knowledge about that the college was providing industrial knowledge or not but from the seniors and the alumnis tha the college provide enough knowledge regarding industrial experience. Facilities are good. If you follow the professor of our college you will succed. There are so many faculties in every semester. As i was in 1st year so nothing special or favourite faculties whic i have seen through.
