The Placements are very good. So Many students get placed at very high package. The college focuses on the overall development of the students,so that they can fulfill every requirement of the companies. Faculties are also very much cooperative with the students, they make students understand the concepts and ideas very easily. Placements Are very good. So many companies come to our college to find some geniuses for their companies every year. The Average Package, Median Package and Highest Package of our college is good and We, Students of our college need to work on our selves very hard and increase these packages.
No. Not any bad remark for college or its management. Just the transportation may be uncomfortable as Sikkim is a hilly area.

I have Choosen NIT SIKKIM because of wrong counseling. But Now I am enjoying the cold weather of Sikkim. Placements Statistics of my college is very high, if we compare with NITS. I have opted Electronics and Communication Engineering because, I have very much interest in electronic devices, when I was in class 12, I was always thinking , how this mobile phone is made , How this hard drive made . How we can improve.
I will answer it in branch wise scenario: 1. CSE: institute treats them like how every son in law is treated in indian family. Usually gets placed. Most companies come for them. 2. ECE: Jon snow in stark family (if you have watched GOT then you will get this). Only hope is uncle benjin(intel) who takes him to night's watch(job) 3. EEE: only one word: POWERGRID 4. civil and mechanical: placements for them is like finding oasis in desert. You get it only when you are lucky.
I am in first year, and so far i have all i have seen is only theoritical knowledge which i guarantee you will have no effect on real life problems. I don't think that computer science student grinding some rod in mechanical workshop will land him in microsoft or Google. I mean college's whole point of making student have to study all the subjects of different departments is so that he can have insight of all the branches and if he likes he can change it. But let me clear it, a student who wants to change his branch knows it at beginning of semester. Changing is also quite tough. You have to secure above 9 gpa and for that you need to scan the professors notes like scanned copy by CamScanner...
Pros: Picturesque landscape, good placements. Cons: Limited Infrastructure.
