Yes, NIT South Sikkim conducts its own entrance examination for admission to PhD. Besides this, the institute also accepts valid scores of the GATE and NET examinations for admission to PhD.
No, it is not possible for General B.Sc. students to apply for M.Sc. in NIT South Sikkim. The students who have completed their B.Sc. in Honors mode are only eligible to apply for admission to M.Sc.
