Ques. Is GATE mandatory for admission to M.Tech Structural Engineering at Vel Tech?
Ans. No, GATE is not mandatory. Vel Tech accepts admission through GATE score, TANCET score, or its own entrance exam called VTPGEE (Vel Tech Post Graduate Entrance Exam). Students without a GATE score can still apply and appear for VTPGEE. However, having a valid GATE score may make you eligible for additional fee concessions or stipend benefits as per the university's merit policy.

Ans. The total programme fee for 2 years is Rs. 1,25,000 (Rs. 62,500 per year, inclusive of tuition and exam fees). Additionally, a one-time caution deposit of Rs. 5,000 (refundable), application fee of Rs. 1,000, and blazer cost of Rs. 5,000 are charged separately. Hostel is optional and charged separately based on room type. There are no other hidden charges, but arrear/supplementary exam fees are charged extra if applicable.
