National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh is the newest addition to the NITs across the country. The institute was established in September 2015. NIT Warangal is the mentor institute of NIT Tadepalligudem.
NIT-AP offers B.Tech in eight branches of Engineering with a total intake capacity of 480 seats. Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, and Metallurgical & Materials Engineering have an intake capacity of 30 seats. Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering have 60 seats each. Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering 90 seats each.

NIT Tadepalligudem offers B.Tech degree in eight branches. Admissions to these eight streams will be based on the All India Rank obtained in JEE Main. The minimum eligibility criteria for the program is same as the entrance test i.e. candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with other optional subjects. Candidates should also score at least 45% marks in each subject.
JEE Main or Joint Entrance Examination is a National level entrance test conducted by the CBSE. Admission to B.Tech programs shall be done through CSAB. Candidates will have to register online at the CSAB portal for participating in Central Seat Allocation Board-Self-Financed Technical Institutes (CSAB-SFTI) counselling.

To apply to NIT AP for B.Tech program, candidates should follow these steps:
NIT Andhra Pradesh follows the reservation criteria of the Govt of India. Joint Seat Allocation Authority shall publish the seat matrix for the various institutions for the academic year in its web portal. Also, about 50% seats are reserved for the candidates from the state of Andhra Pradesh and the rest of the 50% is for candidates from other states. No seats are reserved for NRI and Foreign candidates.
