SIU Bangalore Admission Dates 2027

Admissions for the 2026-28 MBA and 2026-29 BBA batches have concluded. The next admission cycle for the 2027-29 MBA batch starts with SNAP 2026, with registration expected to open on August 1, 2026. The BBA (SET) 2027-30 cycle is expected from December 2026.

SIU Bangalore Courses and Fees

SIU Bangalore offers MBA, MBA Business Analytics, MBA Executive, and BBA (Hons.) with four specialisations, along with a Ph.D in Management. The regular MBA and MBA Business Analytics both cost INR 20,62,000 for 2 years. The 4-year BBA (Hons.) costs INR 14,40,000 total across all four specialisations.

The MBA Executive at INR 5,80,000 is significantly more affordable than the regular MBA at INR 20,62,000 and targets working professionals with at least 2 years of experience. The BBA (Hons.) first year costs INR 3,75,000 due to a one-time INR 20,000 enrolment charge; subsequent years cost INR 3,55,000 each.

SIU Bangalore Admission Process

SIU Bangalore offers no management quota or direct admission. All MBA seats at SIBM Bengaluru are filled through SNAP merit, followed by Group Exercise, Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI). All BBA seats at SCMS Bengaluru are filled through SET merit and a further selection round.

MBA Eligibility and Process (SIBM Bengaluru)

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST)
• Valid SNAP score
• Expected SNAP cutoff for SIBM Bengaluru: 90 to 92 percentile (General category)

Shortlisted candidates based on SNAP score appear for GE (Group Exercise), WAT (Written Ability Test), and PI (Personal Interview) at SIBM Bengaluru. The final merit is calculated combining SNAP score, GE, WAT, and PI components.

BBA Eligibility and Process (SCMS Bengaluru)

• 10+2 from a recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST)
• Valid SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) score
• Further selection through SET GE-WAT-PI process at SCMS Bengaluru

SC/ST candidates receive 15% and 7.5% reservation within the sanctioned intake respectively. PWD candidates have 3% horizontal reservation. Up to 15% of intake is reserved for international and NRI students through SIU’s international admissions office.

The 2025 MBA placement season at SIBM Bengaluru reported an average package of INR 14.53 LPA and a highest package of INR 23.50 LPA. The median package for the batch stood at INR 14 LPA, with 195+ companies participating in campus recruitment.
