Course Curriculum Overview:
Reason to choose bca -
1) of course my interest in the technology field.
2) if you don't have a good financial condition and want a job as soon as possible.
3) if you are not from a science background and still want to become a programmer or have an interest in computers etc. Faculty -The faculty is good. You will also give a review sheet of the faculty if something is wrong. Also, all study material is available online too. Exams- Exams are normally college levels But not extremely hard. If you study properly you can easily pass.

- Attendance based on uniform was something that can be changed.

- The infrastructure is quite good. It has seperate buildings for seperate courses like students of technology and management have seperate buildings.
Dislikes
- The course has too many unnecessary subjects like BTech students have to learn economics, history, geography etc in their course.
- The faculty members are not even able to solve
- The campus life is no good. There are not many fest held and the ones which are held are not even good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I wanted to do BTech in CSE so I joined this course.
The number of faculty members is quite good but their qualification is not. Like some of them don't know their subjects well. Whenever a student asks the queries 80 percent time they are not able to solve them, whether it is a maths question or a programming question. The level of teaching is also not good like the first whole semester they were teaching us how to add two numbers in Python and the exams were totally different from what we were taught.
There are a total of 2 tests and 1-semester exam. But the tests are just useless, many of the students don't bother to attempt these.

- The faculty members here are very nice, they take care of everyone.
- The placement of this college is also very good.
Dislikes
- The playground here is in the basement, so if you ever go, you have to go up and down.
- They should increase their canteen a little, the room is too small for the canteen.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I took this branch because I have a lot of knowledge about computers and this will make our life better in future. Almost all the faculty members have done PhD in this college. They are teaching very well, they also help if there is any problem.

University of Engineering and Management (IEM Newtown): 1 Answered Question
Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?
Ayan DeyB.Tech Computer Science, University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata (2020)
UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:
- It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
- The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
- UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
- The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
- UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.
These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
