This college is made by IEMUEM group which is no 1 private college in Kolkata. I have also seen many reviews from YouTube and also ask the local people about the college. They also said that UEM,Kolkata is a very much disciplined college and it also gives good placement That's why I have choose this college.

The main factors that I have looking for are :
1. Placement record : this university is providing 100% placement record. first of all I did not believe that and I thought it was fake one but when I came to the office of the university they have shown us the prove of the 100% placement record which is blew my mind.
2. Facilities and Faculties : the second thing which I have taking in care of is the facilities and faculties, whether they are providing enough facilities so that the labs are working correctly or not.

The main factor before taking the admission I was looked at about the placements and after passing out from the university I am also having that. Bagging two jobs at TCS and IBM I have understand the capability of the university and the curriculam that have been learning the way how to be a industry ready guy and the university is taking care that. None can be know this university better than me because I have spent 3 years here and bagged the Jobs.

the main factor of our college is the way the students have been placing the jobs in various companies. The 100 percent record of placements of our university is the main attraction and the main achievement that any one wanted before taking admission to any kind of university. After that looking about the labs facilty I have came to know about the facilities that are providing by the university and also the internship offers are offered here are quite upgraded.

Firstly I have checked for the college placements I have came to know that UEM, Kolkata has that with 100% placement record in the last 2 years. Which is quite brilliant for me. Then I have checked the Faculties and facilities that have been provided by the university and that seems quite helpful for me and impressed me and have selected that college.

University of Engineering and Management (IEM Newtown): 1 Answered Question
Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?
Ayan DeyB.Tech Computer Science, University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata (2020)
UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:
- It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
- The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
- UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
- The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
- UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.
These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
