- nice environment and good climate her , which freshens me
- college have milma shop and cafe where we get everything to eat
- good faculty with good syllabus which include everything
Dislikes
- the food provided by them also really bad
- hostel rooms are also really bad here comparing to others
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum that provided by IIITK is so good, I love it they include machine learning with AI which is so core and deep, and dsa, several programs, and some electronic subjects are also included in their syllabus.

- Friendship circle that i got from here is amazing
- Faculty are too good, without any fear you can approach each of them

- Food that provide from here is too bad
- Campus is very small, still developing one

the course curriculum in cs is both relevant and comprehensive.
it covers wide range of topics that are essential for understanding the field .it includes the core concepts such as algorithm ,data structure,computer architecture ,machine learning,cyber security ,artificial intelligence etc

- Washing Machine for washing clothes would be the biggest plus
- More peer interactions and good coding culture
- More industry based course and curriculum.
Dislikes
- Less freedom, strict environment and high attendance requirement
- Mess food is very shit. And we should compulsorily pay the fees.
- Campus size very small. Not much place to explore even outside the campus

I don't know much about this section..
But the avg package while I took admission (2023) was around 14LPA and highest package was around 50LPA.
The number student intake is also increasing year by year

- More freedom and less hectic academic schedule
- highly supportive and interactive seniors with no ragging or discrimination in campus
- regular work shops and sessions on various on demand and trendy topics by industry professionals
Dislikes
- Mess food is not that tasty most of the time and have to rely on canteen or outside food
- Little to no open space in campus for spending time or for walking around
- strict attendance policy: letters will be sent to homes every mid-sem if attendance falls below 80% in each subject
Placement Experience:
Placements at IIIT K are commendable students can sit for placements from 7th sem with cutoff of around 7.5 cgpa overall
Highest placement offered is 58lpa and average is 14lpa and around 70-75 companies visited campus last time
around 90 is average placement percentage overall including on campus and off campus placements

- Pleasant and peaceful environment in college
- frequent workshops by industry professionals on various topics to increase student exposure are conducted
- More peer interactions and good coding culture in campus
Dislikes
- Less no of fests are held and college management should invest more in this regard
- Strict and high attendance policy in college
- No facility of ac's in hostel rooms as it gets too hot in summer

College is known for it's placements . highest package is 58 lpa and average is 14 lpa
college placement and entrepreneurship cell work hard to bring good placements to students and to develop them in all aspects and placement percentage is nearly 95%

- Good technical and cultural clubs in college which develop student in all aspects
- Very supportive faculty and friendly seniors
Dislikes
- Proximity from nearby towns: one must take public transport to reach other villages
- only one canteen is available, need more better ones
- Less open area to spend time exploring around campus.
Placement Experience:
Placements at IIIT Kottayam are on par with other IIIT's and NIT's. Students can start apearing for placements from 7th semester onwards. It is mandatory to submit a project in 4th year. Placement cell at IIIT K works along with Strong alumni network to bring companies to campus. HIghest package is 57 lpa and average is 13 lpa. Around 90% is placement percentage.

- Very active and resourceful authorities are involved in the entrepreneurship cell.
- Very good coding culture is present which is useful in developing oneself.
- Practical discussions about case studies happen very often which I really liked.
Dislikes
- High attendance is required to maintain for each subject
- Mess food is not tasty it is neither spicy nor salty
- Difficulty in reaching nearby village/town as nearest one is 5km away.
Placement Experience:
Student become eligible from 7th semester for campus placements. Many companies visit campus and last year aroud 70 companies have visited the campus. Highest package offered is 58LPA and average package is 12 LPA and nearly 92% of students are getting placements. I plan to get a job after degree and focus on my career.
