IIIT Bhopal Faculty

The faculty at the college are predominantly graduates from prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs, and IIITs, holding PhDs and known for their expertise in their subjects. Despite being a new institute with only three branches, the student-to-faculty ratio stands at approximately 1:30 to 1:50, which is considered average or low compared to other institutions. Many faculty members, including those from the mentoring institute MANIT Bhopal, are on contract or temporary basis, yet they are noted for their supportive and approachable nature.

Practical learning is emphasized over theoretical, particularly in the computer science field, though some students feel that self-study is necessary to supplement classroom teaching. The curriculum is structured with three types of exams per semester: mini tests (10 marks), midterms (20 marks), and end-semester exams (60 marks).
