Ques. What is the eligibility to apply for B.Com Hons at KKMU?
Ans. Candidates must have passed Class XII from any recognised board with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. Commerce as a stream is preferred but not mandatory. SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates need a minimum of 40%. A valid CUET-UG 2026 score can be used for merit ranking. KKMU also considers direct Class XII merit for eligible students who did not appear in CUET-UG.
Ques. What subjects are covered in the B.Com Hons programme at KKMU?
Ans. The curriculum includes financial accounting, cost and management accounting, business law, corporate law, income tax and GST, business economics, financial management, auditing, business statistics, computer applications in commerce, and research methodology. The Hons variant includes an advanced component covering specialised commerce theory, analytical tools, and a dissertation or project in the final year.
Ques. What is the total fee for B.Com Hons at KKMU?
Ans. The total programme fee is INR 2,43,000 for three years, which works out to INR 81,000 per year across six semesters. Hostel accommodation is optional and billed separately at INR 1,76,000 per year. Merit scholarships of 25% to 100% apply based on Class XII aggregate. Students with 80% and above qualify for a full tuition fee waiver at KKMU.

Ans. B.Com Hons students commonly pursue CA (Chartered Accountancy), CMA (Cost and Management Accountancy), CS (Company Secretary), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or ACCA alongside the degree. These professional qualifications significantly strengthen career prospects in auditing, taxation, financial analysis, and corporate advisory. KKMU’s semester structure allows students time to prepare for these examinations concurrently.

Ans. Yes. KKMU Merit Scholarships of 25% to 100% on tuition fees are available based on Class XII aggregate at the time of admission. Students with 80% and above receive a full tuition waiver. An additional 20% scholarship applies to siblings of existing students, single girl child applicants, and SC/ST/OBC candidates. State and central government scholarships can also be applied for at scholarships.gov.in.
