Ques. What is the eligibility to apply for M.Com at KKMU?
Ans. Candidates must hold a B.Com or B.Com Hons degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates require 45%. A valid CUET-PG 2026 score or a qualifying score in the KKMU Admission Test is needed for admission. Students from B.Com-related degrees in management or economics may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Ques. What subjects are taught in M.Com at KKMU?
Ans. The M.Com curriculum covers advanced financial accounting, management accounting, corporate tax and GST, business research methods, financial management, strategic management, international finance, capital market analysis, organisational behaviour, and dissertation. The programme spans four semesters and includes both core commerce theory and applied financial analysis components designed to prepare graduates for academic and corporate careers.
Ques. What is the total fee for M.Com at KKMU?
Ans. The total programme fee is INR 1,18,600 for two years, which works out to INR 59,300 per year across four semesters. KKMU Merit Scholarships of 25% to 100% on tuition apply based on qualifying degree aggregate. Students with 80% and above may qualify for a full tuition fee waiver, making the effective cost very low.
Ques. Can M.Com from KKMU help with UGC-NET preparation for college teaching?
Ans. Yes. An M.Com degree with 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST) qualifies candidates to appear for UGC-NET in Commerce, which is the standard qualification for college lectureship and JRF in India. KKMU’s M.Com curriculum is structured around topics that overlap with the UGC-NET Commerce syllabus, including accounting, financial management, business law, and research methodology.
Ques. What career options are available after M.Com from KKMU?
Ans. Graduates can pursue roles as accounts managers, financial controllers, tax consultants, internal auditors, finance managers, and banking officers. Academic opportunities include eligibility for college lectureship through UGC-NET in Commerce. Further qualifications such as CA, CMA, MBA Finance, or Ph.D. in Commerce can be pursued after M.Com to accelerate career growth.
Ques. Does KKMU accept CUET-PG for M.Com admission?
Ans. Yes. KKMU accepts CUET-PG 2026 scores for M.Com admission. CUET-PG 2026 was conducted between March 6 and March 27, 2026, and results were declared on April 24, 2026. Candidates who qualified can use those scores to apply for the July 2026 session. KKMU also conducts its own Admission Test for candidates who did not appear in CUET-PG 2026.
