In the fall intake of 2018, a total of 6,248 students applied for Dickinson College admissions. 49%of the total applicants were offered admission to various courses. Only the students meeting the eligibility criteria can get admission to the college. Out of the total students admitted, 2,556 were the males while 3,692 females took admission in various programs. The average class size is 15.

Dickinson College International Student Admissions

The international students willing to study in the US have to adhere to the admission requirements which are different from the national students’ applying at the college. The below-mentioned information will guide the students to apply accurately at Dickinson College.

Application Portal: The international students can apply online through The Common Application

Application fees: USD 65 (for UG courses)

Academic requirements: ACT/SAT, Official transcripts. The international students are suggested to apply with duly filled application form so that their application doesn’t get rejected. The students’ academic records from the institution they have attended must reach the university within the allotted time period.

English Proficiency Test Score for International Students

All the international applicants applying from non-native English speaking countries must show their proficiency in the English language. The TOEFL, IELTS scores needed to get shortlisted is mentioned below:

Visa Process for International Students

The International students planning to study at the university need to apply for a student visa to study in the USA post they are shortlisted by the university to pursue their studies. Once the students are accepted to a study abroad program, they receive, via the online application system, guidelines for each Dickinson program.

To apply for an F-1 visa, international students must complete the following steps.

  • The international students will be issued form I-20 by the university and after that will apply for the F-1 Students visas to enter the US. International applicants need to produce the following documents to get the Form I-20:
  • Passport photocopy

  • Attested Bank statement.
  • Personal data information form
