    Dean’s Scholarship:

    Distinguished Scholar Scholarship:

    • Must maintain good academic performance.
    • All applicants are considered for this scholarship.

    Edward T. Lee Scholarship: Established in honour of Edward T. Lee, one of the founders of Law School, this scholarship, like both of the scholarships above, awards entering students on the basis of the overall quality of their admission application.

    Martin C. Housman Award: This award provides financial support to recent graduates of UIC JMLS to enrol in a certified bar exam course.

    The aforementioned scholarships are open to all applicants based on their merits. Students may apply for it on the college website.

    Work While You Study

    International students are allowed to work both on and off-campus in JMLS. 

    • On-campus employment is permitted without authorisation, however, it is limited to 20 hours per week while school is in session.
    • Off-campus employment may be authorised by the International Office during the degree program. Certain eligibility requirements apply.

    I chose to study in the USA because I have completed my bachelors and was planning to do an MBA from abroad, so; I researched the internet and found John Marshall Law School to the best fit into my consideration and chose to study international business and trade law, and I applied to the institute online through their website, free of cost.

    Course Curriculum :

    Pursuing LLM as a career has given me new learnings and horizons of exploration into the field of international business and trade laws, my course curriculum included coursework, along with a proper mix of skill and training and also research and development, to meet the needs of the dynamic world and to allow me to position mine as a successful legal practitioner.

    I pursued my bachelor's (LLB and BA integrated) and scored 84% in graduation. I wanted to apply for a master's degree and I wanted to pursue if from the USA. After going through a few colleges, I decided to apply for The John Marshall Law School. I wanted to pursue a master's in International Business and Trade Law to build a strong international legal career. There is no application fee charged. Also, I had no trouble while applying as the process was completed online.

    Course Curriculum :

    The coursework included skills training and research to adapt to the changing needs of the world and the marketplace. The course also focuses on polishing the existing skills and teaching us the rules, regulations, and requirements of the industry. The coursework included subjects like Multinational corporation law, international banking & finance law, international trade law, etc.
