The College accepts international students and requires them to apply and submit their documents before the announced deadlines. Visa process for international students:

  • The students will be required to be accepted in the University before they can be given the Form I-20
  • For this, students have to fulfill the admission requirements
  • After this, the applicant needs to pay his SEVIS Fee and this SEVIS ID will be printed on I- 20 forms.
  • Students are required to bring a copy of their online receipt for the embassy interview as well as when they travel to the U.S.
  • Through the US embassy website in their residence country, the students should apply for a US study visa.
  • Following documents are required for the interview:
    • Passport valid for at least 6 months
    • Form I-20
    • Acceptance Letter
    • I-901 receipts
    • Proof of funding (updates bank details)
    • Any other relevant document

Update on COVID -19

Due to the current situation of COVID-19 the Harvey Mudd College will take a decision regarding the classes for its fall semester depending on the then situation. The college is considering the options of Partly in-person, partly online or fully Online classes.

The College urges the applicants to visit the campus before enrolling or applying to the college. The internationals applicants are advised to regularly check their emails. The college takes 3 to 4 weeks time in reverting on the application hence applicants are required to wait for the given time before starting any follow up on the application. In case of any discrepancy the college shall ask for the required documents.

The college is selective in granting admission and preference is given to students who have challenged themselves in high school in various subjects such as chemistry, calculus, foreign language or social sciences.
