English Language Requirements

College of DuPage requires the following minimum scores in English Language proficiency tests to be considered for admission at the College of DuPage:

  • Students with TOEFL score of 79 or more and an IELTS score of a minimum of 6.5 are considered college ready and eligible for enrolment.
  • Students who have a TOEFL score of 40-78 or an IELTS score of 3-6 need to complete the relevant placement exams and will be placed in English or Academic ESL, as dictated by the placement guidelines.

Visa Process for International Applicants

  • Submit a supporting bank letter/ Certification of Finances, a copy of Passport or national ID to obtain Form I-20 from the University.
