Calvin College, USA: Graduate Admissions

Calvin College offers only three graduate courses:

  • The master's in education course has four broad fields of specializations- educational leadership, literacy, curriculum and instruction and inclusion specialist.
  • Application Requirements-

    • Official transcripts from all previously attended institution
    • 2 professional letters of recommendation
    • Copy of teaching certificate
    • Proof of English language proficiency
    • Declaration of finance form.
  1. Master's in Accounting (M. Acc):
  • Students are given the choice to apply in either the Spring or the Fall semester. 
  • The full time pathway is a nine month intensive course. However a part time option is also available.
  • Application Requirements-
    •  A completed admission application.
    • Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions
    • No GMAT score required
    • Two letters of recommendation, at least one from an academically related person.
    • A minimum of 160 hours of professional work experience
    • An updated resume
    • A personal statement with at least two experiences that impacted the student’s career goals.
    • All applying students are required to have taken undergraduate courses in Cost Accounting, Business Law, Corporate Finance, Accounting Systems and intermediate Accounting 1 and 2 
    • Also, international students are required to show proof of their English language proficiency 
    • Students who do not satisfy the general requirements can enroll in the college's Non degree studies program.

  1. Master of Arts in Speech Pathology
  • All SQUAD prerequisite courses need to be completed by the student seven years prior to admission at Calvin College.
  • Admission is also based upon successful checking of criminal backgrounds, fingerprint and a drug screening.
  • Students must submit all application material by January 15 for fall semester.
