Visa Process for International Students

  • The international students must possess an F-1 student visa.
  • The Office of International Affairs will guide all international candidates and issue Form I-20 from the university to successfully apply for the admission.
  • Documentation including medical, flight details, etc should be fulfilled.
  • The following documents must be provided in order to receive the Form I-20
    • Copy of Passport
    • Proof of Financial Support
    • Bank Statement
    • Sponsor letter
  • Completely fill the I-20 form and must pay the fee of SEVIS-F1 fee of $500.
  • Applicants are later required to apply for the F-1 visa or M-1 visa based on the eligibility. Submit the form and pay the application fee
  • The visa interview will be scheduled after filling of the form.

The university has quite a selective admissions policy. Of 8034 applications, only 2734 were accepted for fall 2018. The admissions decisions are notified on December 15 (early decision I), February 15 (early decision II), and mid-March (regular decision). The applicants applying for early decisons are required to confirm their enrollments within 7-10 days after receiving the acceptance letter. The applicants applying for regular decisions are required to enroll by May 1.
