Hanover College International Admissions

The student body at the college currently has international students from 29 countries from around the world. International applicants are required to submit additional documents, complete the visa process, and provide proof of ELP.

English Language Requirements

International applicants from non-English speaking countries are required to provide ELP test scores. The college accepts IELTS and TOEFL test scores. In case the applicant does not have these score, conditional admissions can be offered. For conditional admissions, the applicant must have the following minimum score in the ACT and SAT.

Visa Process for International Students

  • International Applicants are issued Form I-20 from the college after acceptance.
  • Applicants are required to provide the following documents to receive the Form I-20:
    • Copy of passport
    • Proof of financial support
    • Bank statement
    • Sponsor letter, if applicable
  • Complete the I-20 and pay the SEVIS I-901 fee.
  • Applicants then need to apply for the F-1 or J-1 visa. Submit the form and pay the application fee.
  • Schedule and attend the visa interview.

Hanover College Undergraduate Admissions
