Juniata College is moderately selective of the students who enroll for any program here. In Fall 2018, the college received around 2,500 admission application. Out of the total number of applications, 70% of students were offered admission.
Juniata College provides a unique system of program selection namely Program of Emphasis which allows learners to take lessons, work on assignments, and carry out internships in two or more study domains. Hence, enabling students to combine specific interests into a specialized area of study.

Juniata College requires international applicants to fulfill the following admission requirements:
Juniata College accepts TOEFL, IELTS and PTE scores. International applicants must meet the minimum score requirements for any one of these proficiency exams.

Applicants who meet all the admission requirements except for English proficiency may be qualified for conditional admission. These applicants are required to enroll in Juniata's Intensive English Program before beginning degree classes.
International applicants will be issued Form I-20 (if applying for an F-1 visa) or a Form DS-2019 (if applying for a J-1 visa) by Juniata College. Applicants must provide the following documents to receive the Form I-20:
Applicants who receive their Form I-20 or DS-2019 can proceed to apply for a visa at a US consulate or embassy closest to you. In order to support visa requests, applicants are required to confirm the payment of I-901 Remittance Fee for Certain F, J, and M Non-immigrant Visas.

Admission notifications at Juniata College are informed via mail. The applicants who apply for Early Action, Early Decision, and Regular Decision, receive their admission notifications by February 15, December 15, and November 15 respectively. In all other cases, admission decisions are made within 5-6 weeks.
