Established in 1890, Millsaps College is a private liberal Arts college that offers admissions to graduate as well as undergraduate programs in more than 15 disciplines. Some of the popular undergraduate programs include Psychology, Social Sciences, Business, Management, Marketing, Biological and Biomedical Sciences. The Institute offers Master’s degrees in mainly two disciplines- Accounting and Business Administration. It has 97 full-time faculty members working towards making a better US Education System. 

The institute also offers a few programs as minors, however students must opt for a major compulsorily. Moreover, a few pre professional courses are also offered by the college. based in Jackson, Mississippi. At present, the institute has a total student enrollment of 985 students and 57% of them are international students. With a moderate acceptance rate of 59%, the college is moderately selective when offering letters of place. Application Deadlines

The institute provides a range of courses for international students, deadlines for which are as mentioned below. Undergraduate applicants have certain deadlines that need to be considered while applying at Millsaps. However, graduate applicants do not have any specific deadlines.

Freshmen applying to the college have the option of receiving an early notification from the institute (only if you are accepted in the Early Action scheme). You can simultaneously apply to other universities while not having to disclose your decision to Millsaps College until May 1. To qualify for this option, all required documents and forms must be submitted by November 15. A notification of admission will be sent by January 15.

Graduate Students can start work in the MBA and Macc programs at the beginning of any semester. The Executive MBA begins every January.

International Student Admissions

Application Portal: The Students can apply online using Millsap’s New streamline application or Common Application.

Admission requirements

  • Completed Admission Form (Either the Millsaps International Application Form or Common Application Form). 
  • International Qualifications Self Report Form. This form includes information on your English language proficiency test scores, transcripts and other test scores reported by the student. 
  • Self-reported data is verified before enrollment and any false information could result in an adjustment to merit scholarship and/or change or cancellation of admission decision. 
  • Test scores to be submitted include either of the IB, SAT, ACT, AP, iGCSE, GCSE, GCE scores. 
  • Submit the I20 Financial Support Form. This form demonstrates that students have enough funds to support their study in the USA. 
  • The institute also requires students to submit recommendations via their school counselors, official or teacher along with the application. 

International Graduate Students can directly apply for the MBA and Macc programs at the graduate school. 

English Proficiency Test Scores 

International students that do not have English as their primary language need to provide proof of their English proficiency. They can take any one of the following tests for that same. Millsaps College has minimum scores for these tests which are tabulated below:

Visa Process for International Students

International students need a F1 Visa to Study in the USA. Students need the I20 Form which will be provided once admission has been confirmed by the institute. This form confirms that you have sufficient finances to support your study costs in the country. Submit the I20 form along with all other documents for the visa. The college shall provide more information on the visa application process after the student has been admitted. Having a Health Insurance is also a must.

The students seeking admissions in Graduate courses will have to appear in an interview with the Director or Associate Director of Graduate Admissions. Early start program is available for current Millsaps College undergraduate BBA students who wish to continue to graduate business programs at the institute.
