Admission Requirements For International Students

The students willing to obtain admission at UNK, they must fulfil the following criteria in order to successfully completing the application process. The applicants are required to submit the following documentation showing their eligibility to enrol for graduate and undergraduate programs. Some of these requirements are as follows:

  1. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.39.
  2. Proof of English proficiency for non-native English speakers.

  6. SAT and ACT scores of 1030 and 20 respectively.

Academic Requirements for International Students:

  • Financial Affidavit for the proof of financial support for the entire stay of the students.
  • Official TOEFL or IELTS score. This is used to ensure that you are prepared for coursework taught in English. Score must be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service. The minimum TOEFL score accepted is 550 for the paper version and 79 for the internet version. The minimum IELTS score is 6.5.
  • If admitted, the Graduate office will verify funding requirements have been met, print the admit letter and notify International Education for the issuance of the I-20 or DS-2019.
