Considering the past 5-year admission statistics of New York University (NYU), the admission rate has dropped down to 19% from 35%. It signifies that NYU has become highly selective in choosing its prospective students. Notably, only top-8% test takers are granted admission here.
The NYU offers admissions in the Fall and Spring seasons as it’s not feasible for NYU to accommodate all the eligible students in the same season. Out of 67,000 students who applied in the last Fall season, only 18,520 students were granted admission.
