New York University Eligibility Requirements for Indian Students

NYU applies a school-by-school academic bar and a university-wide English proficiency threshold. NYU offers doctoral programmes across GSAS (Graduate School of Arts and Science), Tandon, Steinhardt, Stern and the Grossman School of Medicine. Most PhD programmes admit only for the Fall 2027 intake, with applications closing between 1 December 2026 and 15 January 2027 depending on department.
