I was looking for a college with a strong reputation. A college having a team of devoted faculty members. And a good study environment. These were some of the features I was looking for. I applied to the college with the help of an application.
I am studying a demanding, rigorous and rewarding course. Along with this outstanding course, I am also getting the world-class technological resources of The Peter J. Tobin College of Business.
After completing graduation in Law I went to do post-graduation in the same field. I applied in 3-4 colleges and I was qualified in all of them. I decided to study at St. John's University. As it was a better and cheaper option among other universities.
It is a focused program of study that is made to provide us the knowledge and skills required to succeed in the jurisdiction
The location as well as it has a great reputation in my field of interest in clinical psychology. I wanted to go to a diverse school. They have many studies aboard programs. Offered me financial aid/ scholarships as a transfer student.
It could be more rigorous. For my major specifically I learned a lot of theoretical content, but I wish I learned more statistical programming that would have made me more competitive in the job market to employers.
They gave me a lot of scholarship money and it's only 20 mins from home so I can commute and save the money I would've spent doing elsewhere. Combined with FAFSA, it hardly costs much for me to attend.
It's glorified high school for me. The classes are all easy if you choose the right professors and the workload is not heavy. Some of the required courses are a waste of time in my opinion, like Discover New York, where we have to learn about New York City. I'm from NYC, I don't need that course. That's 3 credits of my time wasted. That's really my only grievance but boy, does it piss me off.
This particular college was suggested to me by one of my teachers at the school. His son also studied there so he knew everything about the college and summarized me. I applied to the college through the common app by paying an application fee of $70.
The degree program in Business provided us with high-quality business education. This interdisciplinary program allowed us to select seven advanced courses from the major disciplines as our major. Thus, making us able to create an independent and flexible, yet career-focused major within the B.S. in Business.
