Currently, 1,537 international students are enrolled in BYU. The basic admission requirements for international and domestic students are same at the BYU.
International students have to provide proof of English proficiency and proof of financial support to obtain an F-1 visa.

Visa Process for International Students
International Students will be provided I-20 form by the university after they have been admitted in their chosen program. The students will need an F-1 visa to be able to enrol for the courses at BYU.

International students should submit all supporting documents that are no more than a year old, officially translated into English. Also, they should register for tests like SAT/ACT, English Proficiency Tests and Credential Evaluation, 2 to 3 months prior to the application deadlines. The BYU reviews each application very meticulously. All applications should include original work of the applicants that reflect their achievements and goals.
