  • It is required for all F-1 and J-1 Students. Students are directed not to buy health insurance from the home country as it will be added by Eastern Kentucky on the I-20 form.
  • As soon as the I-20 or DS-2019 is received, an applicant must apply for a student visa after paying the SEVIS fee.
  • A financial affidavit is also required. This would ask the applicants to have proof of money. The applicants must keep 29,559 USD for graduate courses and 33,903 USD for undergraduate courses in their bank account.
