Campus

The College has a 115 acres campus located along the Mississippi river in Illinois, Chicago and it is amongst the top 25 most beautiful campuses in America. 

  • The Campus is known for its health and safety facilities.
  • The campus has administrative, academic and faculty buildings, Environmental field stations, Residence halls and dining facilities. 
  • The campus houses a large PepsiCo Recreation Center equipped with a training room, basketball courts, volleyball courts, weight room, etc.
  • The campus hosts more than 150 student clubs and organizations of student’s interests including academics, poetry, environment, performing arts, and social awareness amongst others.
  • The John Deere Planetarium and Carl Gamble Observatory at Campus offers activities like star gazing, planet viewing and educational programs to both students and the public.
  • The Fryxell Geology Museum containing marvelous collections of rocks and fossils in the entire Midwest is another note-worthy feature of the campus.

Residence

Around 70% of the College students stay on Campus for the first three years and move into off-campus housing as seniors. International students have abundant resources to find accommodation while studying in the US.

  • The college has four Residence Halls, namely, Andreen Hall, Westerlin Residence Center, Seminary Hall and numerous sophomore residences.
  • These four on-campus sites can house around 1,500 students.
  • Andreen, Seminary and Westerlin Halls house freshmen; and other students live in Sophomore residences of Swanson Commons, Ericson Hall, the Flats and Anderson and Bartholomew.

The College offers around 90 majors, minors and other related academic programs, leading to a Bachelor degree.

  •  Augustana College offers programs in nine pre-professional areas of Dentistry, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, and Veterinary Medicine.
