Hamline University is centrally located between Minneapolis and Saint Paul, the Hamline-Midway neighborhood is quite popular for being active, diverse, and convenient.

Residence Facilities at Hamline University

Almost 90% of first-year students chose to live on campus. The students living in on-campus residences get closer access to the classes, can take part in campus activities, fitness activities, and can get involved in a group studying as well.

More than 90% of incoming undergraduates get Hamline grants/scholarships to afford their study in the USA. Financial aid is available for the graduate students as well. Some of the types of scholarships available for international students include:

  • The starting salary of the university’s alumni is almost USD 45,500.

Placements

The university offers many students work-study positions on and off campus job opportunities which in turn help the students in acquiring skills and expertise to start their career. Also, the undergraduate students are supposed to complete an internship as part of the Hamline Plan and the Career Development Center assists them in finding internship opportunities.

100% of incoming students are allowed for up to USD 2,500 in work-study. The earnings from on-campus jobs are utilized toward paying the tuition fees.

    This university is in the area where I grew up. My family lives here which gives me extra support. Also, I am offered a great program that I was interested in. There is also a lot of support within the university that was very advantageous for me. I applied for the university through a customary application form.


    Course Curriculum - 

    My course curriculum is good. There are many different electives to choose from and the course taken is really extensive and practical. Therefore, providing us really good marketable skills.
