  • I live off- campus. Found it through facebook.
  • I pay around $600 every month and utilities include Washer, dryer, microwave and dishwasher)
  • Moving in and moving out is difficult if you don't have a car or you don't know anyone who has a car - that is why I chose a furnished room.
  • My accommodation is 15 minutes (bicycle ride) away from the campus. Bachelor's students stay on campus and other indians live in an apartment.

There are student housing options available around the campus. The average cost of rent is $700 for a three bedroom apartment including utilities. The apartment is fully furnished and has a fridge, gas stove, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi and TV with cable.

I chose this College because of scholarship and funding. Secondly because of reputation and faculty expertise. I had a really positive experience at the university. Graduate degrees are hard work and one hardly gets time to engage in other activities. However, UofL had many social groups that were very active and welcoming which made me enjoy my journey holistically. Louisville is also a great town to enjoy different cuisines and thankfully I got the opportunity to try some of them, even though my budget was limited.

During my freshman year, I lived in an on-campus dorm. It was awesome! Very convenient walk and very safe and clean. In my sophomore year I lived in an off-campus apartment, that was a short walk to campus. It was also very clean and very nice! There are other on-campus apartments and dorms. There's also off-campus housing that isn't too far of a walk.

I received a full scholarship and was interested in the biology program. I liked that it was close to home yet far away enough that I felt I had left. The campus is very nice and the staff really cares about their students.

Scholarships were the main reason I chose this college as well as my friends who attended there and the location that was close to home but far enough. I also liked the marketing program and business college where I went to school.
