• There is a job fair every semester, definitely there is good amount of competition in the job fair. Before the job fair, you can go for a resume evaluation to create one, which points to mention, which are the most necessary ones, where to elaborate and where not to, etc, Steps to improve in your field, Dressing etiquette, etc.

• You can find them on various platforms. Sulekha, Apartments.com, Zillow (Rental Application-For New Lease, guarantor required, Lease term would be 6 months or 1 year(Much preferred)), Whatsapp groups(Easy Find).
• When you are coming for the first time, I request you to get at least $3000 for expenses until you manage yourself. Sometimes you need to pay a broker's fee. Mostly, it's a deposit for 1 or 1.5 months mandatorily, and the first month's rent. Facilities vary by owners. Suggest being on the lease to avoid RFE in the future for OPT and STEM.

Good only, not that bad. I saw many PhD students working under professors for their thesis and research. Also we have campus career fair that provides wide opportunity for real world battles.

As of now it is going good except being paying 20k$ for tuition this semester.

I wanted an international exposure. I thought of USA and got to know about this course. NJIT had the program called 'Flexpath', through which international students could complete their semester online. I did my fall semester online. I saved a lot of money because i did not have to pay for housing, residence or anything else. I started for my visa preparation. I was here in mid Jan 2021 to continue my semester. The difference between online and in-person becomes thinner in NJIT. In fall 2021, classes were in-person.

There are Co-ops and Internship opportunities you can grab from Carrier Fair. Facebook and Google conduct training programs occasionally.

You can complete your Master's in 3 semesters and it's nearby New York great place to stay and explore. Lots of start-up companies are there around campus.

We have companies coming in to give information sessions about the opportunities they have available and what they're looking for along with 200+ companies for our career fair looking to hire our students. The percentage of students who find jobs and have a job lined up for them upon graduation is 90%. If students haven't found a job upon graduation they can still use the resources provided by CDS, our Career Development Service to search for a job.

I picked NJIT because of its small class sizes compared to the other 7 schools I applied to. Since I had a fee waiver for the application I did not have to pay the $75 application fee. After applying I heard back from them within 2 weeks about my decision. They do look for higher math scores and want you to take at least up to pre-calc in high school since math is deemed to be difficult here. NJIT has a tutoring center for all subjects so it is really easy to find help when one seeks help.

The course structure for Data Science was the best amongst other universities. As my area of interest is in Big data and Machine Learning, Professor Roshan Usman and Professor Chase Wu are the best in the industry with their ongoing research projects in the data science field.

there are opportunities for internships and for full time work after masters. NJIT has a platform called handshake, most of the companies list their jobs there, so student can apply to those companies. I am not sure about the salary and number of people places but average starting salary for a computer science student is around $80k.

I liked the course structure and the location. compared to my other admits NJIT was on priority list because of the location(near to the new york), which is kind of cheaper. and talking about the courses, professors are really good here, as they have more of practical concerns. and they are really helpful.
