BIT Mesra main-campus BTech and integrated MSc admission used JEE Main rank through JoSAA or CSAB in 2026-27. BArch accepted NATA or JEE Main Paper 2. BPharm used an accepted JEE Main, NEET UG or CUET UG score together with Class 12 marks. The 2027 BTech schedule is awaited.

BBA and BCA belong to Lalpur and selected off campuses. The Spring 2027 PhD notice is a separate research intake within academic year 2026-27.

BTech, BArch, BPharm and Other UG Selection

For Mesra BTech and integrated MSc, the admission procedure used the JEE Main common rank list through JoSAA or CSAB for Indian applicants. Students selected a programme and campus during counselling. BIT Mesra then checked the allotment, documents and remaining fee at reporting. NRI, OCI and foreign-national applicants followed a separate process based on qualifying-exam marks.

BPharm selection in 2026 gave equal weight to an accepted entrance score and the Class 12 average in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology. BArch and integrated MBA followed their own processes. Biotechnology BTech also had a separate NEET UG admission option in 2026.

MBA, MCA and Other Postgraduate Admission

Regular MBA used CAT, MAT, XAT or CMAT followed by group discussion and interview. MCA used the BIT online entrance test and interview. MTech, MPlan, MPharm and MSc had separate criteria for national-test qualifiers and other applicants.

Online MBA follows separate institute screening. Lalpur and off-campus programmes also have their own admission notices.

Indian BTech and integrated MSc applicants use JEE Main and JoSAA/CSAB choice filling for the Mesra main campus.
