fees these days are increasing exponentially. it does seem a tad expensive when I think how much it used to be just 3 years ago.The fees for clearing back papers are really high. the hsotel fee also seems expensive when you compare it with the facilities provided.
Course curriculum is well balanced and panned out so it not only covers large ground but also gives us thorough fundamental understanding of the subjects of which is essential for my course. Exam structure can be divided into two parts. Internal consisting of three quizzes each of 10 marks and a project and presentation of 20 marks, second the end semester exams of 50 marks.
BIT Mesra is not a completely private college. It's a semi government college. So the fees is not that high compared to other private colleges. My total semester fee for all 4 years is 9.8 lakhs which also includes hostel fee. Apart from this one just has to give mess fee which 20k per semester. So, the cost estimate (apart from personal expenses) is around 11.4 lakhs. So, overall I think the fee structure is feesible.
Course curriculum is just about fine. The syllabus followed is , however, quite old, as it is in any other engineering college in India. As far as computer department is concerned, syllabus although being old covers most of major aspects of Computer science and engineering. In each semester till third year there are around 5 theory papers, 3 practicals and a breadth paper. Fourth year doesn't comprise of much theory or practicals, but mainly consists of projects.
It is expensive. It is about 1.5 lacs per sem which is quite expensive. But one can easily get loan which helps in paying the fee. Since it is a private college so obviously fee structure is high. The fee is like IITs.
Well from 2018 onwards college has adopted to Choice based credit system which is nice to have. Course curriculum is updated and industry ready. Exam structure is as follows - for theory- 1 mid Sem (25 marks) and two Quizzes (best of two-15 Marks). 1 End Sem 60 Marks.
Not Feasible for all but when any bank sanctions the loan then it is feasible. The fee structure is too much expensive for the students of middle class family. There are some scheme in bihar student credit card it helps a lot to the students but the students those who belongs otherthan bihar. They may pay 10.63 % PA intrest Of loan. And it is too much hard to pay when they not got placed in any companies.
Overall it is slightly on the expensive side. It is approximately 1.5 lakhs per semester and fees increase by 10% each year which is too much. I hope something is done to get this removed else fees will skyrocket in coming batches.
The course has been updated to CBCS (Choice based Credit System) where you are free to choose open and program electives in higher semesters. Exam structure consists of 2 quizzes, internal assessment, a mid-semester examination and an end-semester examination.
The fees structure is feasible because bit mesra is a government funded tecknical institute it's cheaper than private college the fees is round about 2 to 2.5 lakhs per anum which makes it 10 lakhs for 4 years which is pretty affordable considering return of investment
The circulum was recently updated and credit based choice system was recently introduced in our college the circulum is totally updated and diversified in order to cater the present needs of students the exam structure is also pretty well structured giving ample opportunities for students to score
It is quiet Expensive as compared to many other colleges the fees has been raised every year and the college does not provides that high infrastructure like it charges the fees. Many College charges Half of the fees.
Its has a good Course Curriculum which is quite easy and easily understandable. The exm structure is quite simply and they take exam two time in per semester like Mid semester exan and End Semester Exam.
When i took admission 3 years ago it was 13L for the course. Which i consider expensive. But the facility and infrastructures provided to us is quite large. Its a semigovenment college so government also pays lot of attention to it.
Corse curriculum is fine. Exam are taken twice a semester. 15 marks internal exam, 25 mid semester and 60 end semester. Just Score 40 to pass your exams. You need to be good at your work and your decision to study in this college can't go wrong.
BIT is a GFTI (Government Funded Technical Institution). As it is owned by Birla, it is a private institution (ranked 2nd in private colleges) and fee structure is expensive. Tuition fee every semester goes around 1 lakh which makes it 2 LPA just for tuitions. Hostel fee is around 5 thousand per month. So yeah, annual expenditure for tuitions and hostel is around 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA.
Yeah honestly, the CSE course curriculum is too slow for any student here. So in order to be on par for the 3rd year internships, we need to know how to learn on our own. Also SGPA makes it difficult to secure high scores in semester examinations, so hard work is required to get good scores in the examinations.
Semester wise fee. Its affordable for many one and if u can't then there is scholarship system for students and also from college for students who really belong a family of below poverty line. They have proper mechanism.
Its a semester wise exam process. I have done mechanical engineering from there. All semester exams and mid semester exams had to qualify for next year. It was very tough to clear with high percentage marks.
