Sixteen students of CIMAGE Group of Institutions, Patna, have been selected as Google Student Brand Ambassadors under Google’s nationwide student ambassador programme. The selected students, drawn from the BCA, B.Sc IT, and BBA programmes, will work as campus-level associates of Google and lead awareness sessions on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and new technologies at the Patna campus.
About the Google Student Brand Ambassador Programme
Every year, Google invites applications from undergraduate students across India for its Student Brand Ambassador programme. The programme looks for students with a genuine drive to learn and share cutting-edge technology. After a multi-stage selection process, the national list of ambassadors was announced, and 16 students of CIMAGE Group of Institutions were among those selected.
The recognition builds on CIMAGE’s growing association with Google. The institution is Patna’s only Google for Education partner campus, and its leadership was hosted at Google’s Ananta campus in Bengaluru earlier this year.
Role of the Selected Ambassadors
As Google Student Brand Ambassadors, the selected students will:
• Introduce peers to Google’s newest technologies, including Google Gemini, AI tools, and reverse image search
• Organise on-campus workshops on technologies Google is actively building • Share digital tools and learning opportunities available through Google’s education ecosystem • Promote responsible and effective use of AI among fellow students
Each selected ambassador will also receive a special kit from Google as part of the programme.
Contributions Across Technology and Management Streams
The selection spans both technology and management programmes. BCA and B.Sc IT students will carry the latest developments in computer science, information technology, and artificial intelligence to their classmates, while BBA students will focus on the intersection of technology, AI, and management, highlighting emerging career opportunities where business meets AI.

Career Significance of the Selection
Beyond the recognition, the ambassador role helps students build technical knowledge, a working understanding of artificial intelligence, leadership ability, and communication skills — attributes that employers actively seek. An association with Google also strengthens a student’s résumé ahead of campus placements. CIMAGE’s placement record includes recruiters such as Wipro, TCS, and Deloitte.
Institution’s Response
Congratulating the selected students, Prof. (Dr.) Neeraj Agrawal, Director, CIMAGE Group of Institutions, said that knowledge of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies has become essential for students today. He described the selection of 16 CIMAGE students by Google as a matter of pride for the institution, adding that such opportunities help students connect with modern technology alongside their studies, recognise their own potential, and prepare better for the future.
Director Mrs. Megha Agrawal and Dean Prof. (Dr.) Neeraj Poddar also congratulated the selected students and wished them a bright future.
