NMU Result 2026 Portal by Program Type

KBCNMU runs three result websites. The right one depends on the course pattern. A student on the wrong portal sees no result at all.

The college portal lists results under six heads. These are DLLE, Commerce and Management, and Humanities. The others are Inter-disciplinary Studies, Science and Technology, and University Schools. The affiliated colleges download their students' PDFs from here.

How to Check NMU Result 2026?

These steps are for the old student portal. CBCS and older pattern students use it.

  • Open the old student result portal at nmujapp.digitaluniversity.ac.

  • Pick the exam event, such as Summer-2026 or Winter-2026.
  • Enter the 16-digit PRN or the seat number.
  • Type the captcha exactly as shown. It is case sensitive.
  • Submit and view the provisional marks.

Example: A TY BBA student who appeared in April 2026 picks Summer-2026. An FY B.Com NEP student logs in on the new portal instead.

NMU Result Not Showing

Three issues cause most failed searches. The first is the wrong portal for the pattern. The second is a wrong exam event, such as Winter-2025 instead of Summer-2026.

The third is a result held by the university. The college exam office can confirm the reason. Pending forms or dues are the usual cause.

What the NMU Grade Card Shows?

The statement of grades prints the student's details at the top. These include the seat number, centre code, PRN, college name and student name.

Each paper then gets one row with these columns:

  • INT and EXT: internal and external marks
  • Total and Max: marks scored out of 100
  • CR: credits for the paper
  • GR and GP: grade and grade point
  • TGP: credits multiplied by the grade point

Important: The university itself says the online result cannot be used to seek admission to a higher course.

NMU Grading System and SGPA Calculation

KBCNMU follows a 10-point scale from 2017-18. The pass mark is 40 percent per paper. Engineering and pharmacy follow separate scales.

Engineering uses its own scale. Above 90 marks earns A+ with 10 points. Below 40 is F.

How to Calculate SGPA?

SGPA is credits multiplied by grade points, divided by total credits. The TGP column already shows each product.

Example: Three 4-credit papers score 59, 60 and 86 marks. Grade points are 7, 8 and 10. SGPA is (28 + 32 + 40) divided by 12, which is 8.33.

A final CGPA of 9.50 or more earns grade O. A CGPA of 4.00 to 4.24 earns P.

NMU Winter 2026 Exam and Result Timeline

Winter 2026 covers odd semester exams. B.Com NEP theory papers run from November 16, 2026. BBA Honours papers run until December 2, 2026.

Summer 2026 results came out about four to eight weeks after papers ended. So Winter 2026 results are expected in phases from late December 2026. In the summer cycle, BE, M.Pharm and B.Tech Cosmetics came last.

How to Apply for Revaluation and Scrutiny at NMU?

Students apply online on the post-exam portal at kbcnmu-exams.com. The fee is paid online. Three options are open, each with its own window.
