BPharm requires 60% in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics. It is a four-year programme and uses the aptitude test. MPharm requires BPharm with 60%, with listed postgraduate specialisations in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology.
BSc Nursing requires Class 12 Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, with 45% aggregate, and a minimum age of 17. It is a four-year programme and is included in the aptitude-test list. Nursing applicants should use the nursing qualification, rather than the higher percentage required for pharmacy.
Life Sciences, Mathematics and Earth Sciences
BSc Bioscience, Biotechnology and Microbiology require 55% in Class 12 Science with Biology. BSc Mathematics requires 55% with Mathematics. Geology and the listed Earth Science honours options require 55% in Class 12 Science.
The three-year and four-year options use the same entry qualification for the corresponding subject. For honours with research, students must obtain 75% during the first three years to continue into the research year. Students who do not meet that condition can follow the honours option under the university's rules.
MSc Course Qualifications
MSc Chemistry requires BSc with Chemistry and 55%. Botany and Zoology require the relevant subject in the earlier BSc, with 55%. MSc Biotechnology accepts the specified life-science bachelor's degrees with 55%, while other life-science master's courses list their own accepted degree combinations.
