BBDU Lucknow regular MBA admission requires 50% in graduation, while MBA in AI requires 60% under the 2026-27 rules. UG eligibility depends on Class 12 subjects and marks. The Admission Cell handles regular-course applications; BDS and MDS follow dental entrance and counselling. A common 2027 admission schedule is awaited.
The following requirements apply to the latest 2026-27 intake. They provide a reference for students preparing for 2027.
BBDU Admission Dates 2026-27
BBDU has not set a dated application calendar for all UG and PG courses. The separate 2026 PhD dates do not establish a reliable 2027 BTech, BBA or MBA deadline.
| Event | Latest confirmed position | For a 2027 applicant |
|---|---|---|
| Most UG and PG application deadlines | No common 2026-27 deadline | Wait for the course's 2027 admission notice; do not use a PhD or dental counselling date |
| 2026-27 odd-semester PhD application deadline | 24 July 2026 | Past research-intake date; no 2027 PhD deadline confirmed |
| 2026-27 odd-semester PhD test and interview | 4 August and 8 August 2026 | Dates applied only to that PhD intake |
| 2026-27 odd-semester PhD result and admission deadline | 14 August and 29 August 2026 | No equivalent 2027 dates confirmed |
BBDU UG Eligibility and Selection
The Admission Cell checks academic eligibility and documents before the programme-fee payment. The requirements below differ by course.
| Course | 2026-27 entry requirement and selection point |
|---|---|
| BTech CSE and CSE (AI) | At least 50% in Class 12, with Physics and Mathematics plus Chemistry or Computer Science; passing marks in each required subject. The entrance-score requirement needs confirmation for the chosen seat. |
| BTech lateral entry | At least 50% in a three-year diploma or a BSc with Mathematics. Entry is into the second year. |
| BBA, integrated MBA and BA Journalism | At least 50% in Class 12. BBA Marketing and BCom (Hons) list 60%. |
| BCA | At least 50% in Class 12 with Mathematics for the regular BCA. The IBM BCA variants list 50% but have their own course descriptions. |
| BArch | A valid architecture entrance score prescribed by the Council of Architecture, plus the accepted Class 12 or diploma subjects and marks. |
| BA LLB and BBA LLB | At least 50% in Class 12. CLAT is preferred but not compulsory. |
| BPharm | Class 12 with Physics and Chemistry, plus Mathematics or Biology for pharmacy eligibility. DPharm holders can apply for lateral entry. |
| BDS | At least 50% in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English; NEET counselling applies. This admission does not follow the general BBDU enquiry process alone. |
For BTech, applicants need confirmation of how an entrance score affects selection for their chosen branch and seat type. BArch and BDS follow separate entrance requirements.
MBA, MCA and PhD Admission
Regular MBA accepts CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT and ATMA and requires 50% in graduation. MBA in AI has a 60% requirement. Regular MCA and the IBM Data Science and AI course also accept different degree backgrounds.
The odd-semester PhD process in 2026-27 included an entrance test and interview. Applicants paid ₹2,000 and applied through the Admission Cell or PhD portal. The July-August dates have passed; a later intake requires a new PhD application.
How to Apply to BBDU
Applicants submit an enquiry with their course and contact details. The Admission Cell then checks eligibility, requests documents and gives payment instructions. Academic fees are paid after verification to confirm enrolment.
Applicants need Class 10 and 12 records, transfer and migration certificates, photographs, address proof and any required entrance rank. PG students also need graduation records. Category, income and gap documents apply where relevant. Dental applicants complete NEET counselling and seat allotment before university reporting.
Admission payments must go through the authorised Admission Cell channels.
