Integral University Lucknow admission uses IUET, the university's entrance test, for the specified programmes. BTech CSE requires 45% in the required Class 12 subjects, BCA requires 45%, and BBA requires 50%. MBA and MCA applicants need 50% in graduation. Architecture and medical courses use their separate entrance and counselling requirements.
The entrance information currently available covers 2026–27. Dates and any revised conditions for the 2027 intake are awaited. The university offers regular, evening and lateral-entry courses, so applicants need to choose both the degree and the correct mode when completing the form.
Integral University Entrance Test
IUET is a computer-based test with multiple-choice questions, conducted at the university campus. The test lasts 90 minutes. Its syllabus follows the qualifying examination for the programme. Applicants can submit their forms online or through the university's permitted offline methods before the scheduled test.
The university states that IUET is normally conducted on Mondays and may be held more frequently when required. Students waiting for their qualifying examination results can apply. Their admission remains subject to submitting the required results and meeting the course qualification.
IUET Subjects and Question Pattern
The test paper depends on the course. Management and several humanities programmes assess general studies, English and reasoning, while science and professional programmes use the relevant school subjects. Postgraduate engineering tests place greater weight on the applicant's degree subject.
| Programme group | Question distribution | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| BPharm and listed science-based professional courses | Physics 25, Chemistry 25, Mathematics/Biology 25, General Studies 25 | 90 minutes |
| BBA, BCA and integrated law | General Studies 35, General English 35, Logical Reasoning 30 | 90 minutes |
| BPT and listed medical technology courses | Physics 25, Chemistry 25, Biology 25, General Studies 25 | 90 minutes |
| MTech CSE and Advanced Computing and Data Science | Computer Science 75, General Studies 25 | 90 minutes |
| MTech Production and Industrial Engineering | Mechanical subject questions 75, General Studies 25 | 90 minutes |
For Agriculture and Horticulture, the third science component can use Biology or Agriculture under the course's paper. BEd has a teaching-aptitude component. Students should use the IUET syllabus for their selected degree when preparing, especially where two programmes accept different qualifying subjects.
Exemption Through Other Entrance Exams
Applicants who have qualified an accepted test may claim an IUET exemption. The university lists JEE Main, JEE Advanced, CMAT, UPCATET, AMUEEE, Uni-GAUGE, state engineering entrance examinations and entrance tests of recognised universities. A valid scorecard must be submitted for the exemption.
The exemption relates to the applicable entrance requirement. Students still need the school or graduation subjects and marks required by their course. Reserved-category SC, ST and OBC candidates receive the stated five-percentage-point relaxation in qualifying marks under the university's admission rules, subject to the relevant programme and regulatory conditions.
Integral University BTech Admission
CSE and Industry-Linked Programmes
BTech CSE requires Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and an accepted third subject, such as Chemistry, Biotechnology or Computer Science, with 45%. The CSE programmes associated with HCLTech and IBM use the corresponding engineering qualification. These include AI and Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and AI, and Data Science and AI.
The regular CSE degree lasts four years. The named industry-linked options are separate entries in the programme list and have their own annual fees. A student selecting an AI or cloud-computing programme should use its full course name in the application so the offer matches the intended option.
Biotechnology and Other Engineering Branches
Biotechnology uses Physics and Chemistry with Mathematics, Biology or Biotechnology, with the specified 45% minimum. This gives eligible Biology students an engineering option with a different school-subject combination from CSE. Biomedical, Food Technology, Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical programmes should be checked against their own qualification codes.
Integral also lists Electrical and Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering in Electric Vehicles, and Electronics and Communication options in AI, VLSI and related areas. Admission requirements and fees follow the exact branch. The availability of a specialisation does not change the requirement to qualify through IUET or an accepted exemption.
Lateral Entry and Evening Study
For engineering lateral entry, the university's brochure lists an eligible three-year engineering diploma with 50%, or a BSc with 55% and Mathematics in Class 12. These qualifications are used for admission after the first year. The relevant branch and equivalence conditions apply when the earlier qualification is checked.
Some lateral-entry courses are offered in the evening, including Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Regular and evening applications are separate options. Applicants should check class arrangements and the accepted earlier qualification for their selected mode before submitting the form.
BCA, BBA and Commerce Admission
Computer Applications and Management
BCA accepts Class 12 with 45% in any subjects. BBA requires 50% in any stream. The BBA Business Analytics, Financial Services and Logistics and Supply Chain Management options also use the university's 50% any-stream qualification in the current course listing.
Both BCA and these BBA programmes have a three-year duration. Their IUET pattern includes General Studies, English and Logical Reasoning. Students from Arts or Commerce backgrounds can therefore apply where the course's any-stream condition is met; the CSE requirement for Physics and Mathematics does not apply to regular BCA.
BCom and Integrated Law
BCom Honours, FinTech and International Accounting and Finance require 45% in Commerce or Science with Mathematics. This is a subject-based requirement in addition to the percentage. BCom Retail Operations Management is also listed separately in the programme catalogue.
BA LLB is a five-year programme with a 45% Class 12 requirement. BBA LLB requires 50% in any stream. Their IUET papers include General Studies, English and Logical Reasoning. The difference in the two minimum percentages matters for students considering both integrated law degrees.
Pharmacy, Nursing and Physiotherapy Admission
Pharmacy Courses
BPharm requires Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology, with 45%. DPharm uses a 50% requirement in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology. Students seeking BPharm lateral entry need a DPharm qualification with 50% under the stated course condition.
MPharm applicants need BPharm with 55%, or 50% for SC/ST applicants in the course listing. GPAT-qualified candidates receive weightage. Integral offers postgraduate pharmacy subjects including Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Pharmacy Practice, each with its own course application.
Nursing and Physiotherapy
BSc Nursing requires Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in Class 12, with 45% under the current course listing, and a minimum age of 17. Post Basic BSc Nursing is a separate programme for applicants with the required nursing qualification and registration.
BPT requires Class 12 PCB with 50%. The university lists a five-year regular programme and a separate lateral-entry option. Lateral-entry applicants need a DPT diploma with 60%. The regular and lateral-entry forms therefore require different academic records even though both lead to physiotherapy study.
Architecture and Medical Admission
BArch applicants must meet the accepted Class 12 PCM or diploma qualification and the architecture aptitude requirement. The university accepts the applicable NATA or JEE Main architecture qualification under Council of Architecture and university rules. IUET does not replace the required architecture test.
MBBS seats are allotted through state-government counselling using NEET merit. MD and MS admission uses NEET PG and the applicable state counselling process. Students seeking these medical courses must complete the counselling registration and allotment steps; a general university application alone does not allot a medical seat.
MBA, MCA and MTech Admission
MBA and Agribusiness Options
Regular MBA and MBA Health Care Management require graduation in any stream with 50%. Students with an accepted CMAT or other qualifying entrance score may seek the applicable IUET exemption. The university also offers specialised management programmes in logistics, tourism and agribusiness.
Agribusiness programmes use specified agriculture, science, engineering or allied qualifications. The general MBA's any-stream condition should not be applied to every agribusiness option. Applicants should select the exact programme and check the relevant qualification before using an entrance score or paying the admission amount.
Regular and Evening MCA
MCA requires graduation with 50%, with Mathematics in Class 12 or at degree level. The regular programme lasts two years, while the evening option lasts three. Both use the Mathematics condition in the current programme listing.
The duration affects the annual fee and the length of study. Regular MCA is ₹1.05 lakh a year and the evening programme ₹75,000 a year at the currently listed rates. Students should select the intended mode at the application stage rather than rely only on the common degree name.
MTech and Research Qualifications
MTech CSE and Advanced Computing and Data Science require 55% in an accepted BE, BTech or MCA qualification in the specified computing, electronics or IT fields. Production and Industrial Engineering requires the relevant Mechanical, Production or equivalent engineering qualification with 55%.
Biotechnology and Bioinformatics accept the specified engineering, MSc or pharmacy qualifications with the programme's minimum marks. Engineering PhD courses generally list a master's degree in the same subject with 60%. Research applicants then complete the separate doctoral entrance and assessment process.
