Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has announced the AEEE 2027 exam window of 15 April to 7 May 2027 for BTech admission. The university says applications will begin in November 2026 but has not given an opening day. Students may seek a BTech seat through AEEE rank or JEE Main percentile, followed by the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). The Coimbatore campus is one of the available engineering campuses.

MBA admission is also open for 2027. ACAT applications close on 31 January 2027, with the exam on 7 February. Eligible applicants can use accepted national scores instead, followed by the MBA selection process.

The AEEE exam window does not give each candidate a test date. Registered students book a slot when the portal opens that step. Amrita has not announced the 2027 CSAP dates, so the 2026 counselling period should be used only for planning.

BTech Eligibility and Selection

For 2027 BTech admission, Amrita accepts an AEEE 2027 rank or JEE Main percentile. A student may apply through both, but both scores are not compulsory. After the results, eligible candidates register for CSAP and choose preferred campuses and branches. Amrita uses entrance performance, preferences and available seats for allotment. AEEE or JEE performance also decides the first-year scholarship fee slab.

BTech applicants need confirmation of the final 2027 PCM requirement. The current AEEE conditions give 55% aggregate and 50% in each subject, while the 2026 rules required 60% aggregate with the same subject minimum. The 2027 handbook is awaited.

MBA Admission 2027 at Coimbatore

Amrita School of Business accepts ACAT 2027 and scores from CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT or GRE. Coimbatore also accepts NMAT. Applicants need at least 60% in Class 10, Class 12 and their bachelor’s degree. Final-year students may apply if they finish their degree examinations by 30 June 2027. They follow the MBA admission process. Amrita considers academic records, entrance performance, work experience where relevant and the personal interview before making an offer.

Applicants using CAT or another accepted score must follow the MBA application deadline for that option. The Coimbatore MBA application fee is ₹1,880 including GST.

Application and Seat Allotment

A BTech applicant registers on the Amrita engineering admission portal and chooses AEEE, JEE Main or both. An AEEE applicant then books a test slot and downloads the admit card when those windows open. After the entrance result, the candidate registers for CSAP, ranks campus and branch choices, and pays the stated amount if allotted a seat.

In 2026, applicants paid a counselling fee and then an initial seat payment after allotment. Amrita refunded the counselling fee if none of the selected branches was allotted by the end of the process. The 2027 payment amounts and full refund terms are awaited.

Admission is confirmed after the candidate meets the marks rule, produces the required certificates and pays by the allotment deadline. Missing a payment or document deadline can lead to cancellation of the offer.
