NMIMS University Result 2026 is released term-wise on the SAP student portal. SVKM's NMIMS declares each school's result separately, after its own term-end exams. There is no common result date for all programmes.

Results come out after the Central Assessment Process, the faculty evaluation round. B.Com and BBA odd-semester exams run from November 23 to December 2, 2026. Evaluation ends on December 12, 2026. Re-exams begin on January 25, 2027, and the result is expected before that.

Students log in with the 11-digit SAP student number at sdcsppscs.svkm.ac.in. No PDF merit list or roll number search exists. The revaluation window stays open for only 3 days.

NMIMS Result 2026 Portal by Program Type

NMIMS uses different portals for campus students and online learners. Entrance results like NMAT and NPAT use separate admission portals.

Student Type Result Portal Login
Campus students of all NMIMS programmes SAP student portal 11-digit SAP student number and password
Same students, via the university website nmims.edu Student Login link Same SAP credentials
NMIMS CDOE online and distance learners studentzone-ngasce.nmims.edu Student Zone credentials

Some school pages also list a second SAP address, sdc-sppap1.svkm.ac.in. Both lead to the same student login.

How to Check NMIMS Result 2026

The steps below follow the official NMIMS student portal manual.

  1. Open the SAP student portal or the Student Login link on nmims.edu.
  2. Enter the 11-digit SAP student number printed on the NMIMS ID card.
  3. Enter the password and the captcha, then click Logon.
  4. First-time users enter the default password init@123 and set a new one.
  5. Click the Result Display tab.
  6. Select the Program of Study, Academic Year and Academic Session.
  7. Click Proceed to view the subject-wise grades.
  8. Scroll down to see the D/F count and the revaluation dates.

A B.Com Semester III student, for instance, picks B.Com, 2026-27 and Semester III. The page then shows that term's grades and GPA.

What the NMIMS Grade Sheet Shows

The result page lists each subject with its letter grade. It also shows the term GPA, the CGPA till date and the D/F count. A student absent in a subject gets AB against it.

NMIMS issues a grade sheet after each trimester, semester or term result. A student with an F grade does not get that term's grade sheet. That student gets a re-examination grade sheet after clearing the subject.

The School of Business Management issues grade sheets once a year. This rule applies from 2019-20 onwards.

NMIMS Grading System and CGPA Calculation

NMIMS awards a four-point GPA for each term and a CGPA across all terms. The grade points below appear in the School of Economics Student Resource Book. Each school's Student Resource Book sets its own marks bands.

Grade Grade Point Marks Band (School of Economics)
A+ 4.00 85% and above
A 3.75 81% to 84.99%
A- 3.50 77% to 80.99%
B+ 3.25 73% to 76.99%
B 3.00 69% to 72.99%
B- 2.75 65% to 68.99%
C+ 2.50 61% to 64.99%
C 2.25 57% to 60.99%
C- 2.00 50% to 56.99%
D 1.50 40% to 49.99%
F 0 Below 40%

How GPA Is Calculated

GPA is the sum of credit times grade point, divided by total credits. CGPA uses the same formula across all terms till date.

Example: A student earns A (3.75) in a 4-credit subject. The same student earns B (3.00) in a 2-credit subject. GPA is (15 + 6) divided by 6, which is 3.50.

Converting CGPA to Percentage

NMIMS follows relative grading, so no formula converts CGPA into percentage. Students who need a percentage apply for a Statement of Marks. The application runs online through the Statement of Marks page.

Failed Subjects and Re-Exam After the Result

A student with an F grade, or absent in a subject, can sit the re-exam. The school publishes the re-exam timetable about 30 to 45 days before the exam. The registration window is printed at the bottom of that timetable.

Students register on the SAP portal under the Reexam Registration tab. The portal lists failed subjects and shows the fee. Payment runs through the HDFC or PayU gateway. The status then changes to PAID.

Important: NMIMS allows no late re-exam application, even with an extra fee.

The School of Economics promotes a student only with no F grade after re-exams. That student may also carry no more than 2 D grades in the year.

How to Apply for Revaluation and Scrutiny After the Result

The revaluation window opens on the SAP portal as soon as the result is declared. It covers only the university's term-end theory exams.

Application Deadline After Result What Happens
Photocopy of answer book Within 2 days, holidays included E-copy appears on the portal and by email
Revaluation Within 3 days, closes at 4 pm Only the questions challenged are rechecked
Verification of marks Within 3 days Marks totals are checked, no photocopy needed

Steps for Revaluation

  1. Open Result Display and click the photocopy and revaluation link.
  2. Select the subject and pay for the photocopy. UPI is accepted.
  3. Read the answer book against the synoptic answers on the LMS portal.
  4. Pay the revaluation fee, then pick the question numbers.
  5. Write a clear reason for each question and click Submit.

Practicals, viva, projects, assignments and MCQ online exams are not revalued. Jury, dissertations, presentations and fieldwork are also excluded. A request without a clear reason is rejected without refund.

How Revised Marks Are Decided

A change of up to 20% of maximum marks makes the revalued marks final. A larger change triggers a second revaluation. The better of the two counts. NMIMS completes the process within 15 working days of the application.

Example: A 50-mark paper scores 28 at first and 35 after revaluation. The 7-mark change is 14%, so 35 becomes final.

NMIMS Result Problems and Fixes

Most result complaints come from login and data issues, not the result itself. The official manual lists these fixes.

  • User locked: repeated wrong passwords lock the ID. Students email the SAP number and a screenshot to sapbasis@svkm.ac.in.
  • Forgotten password: the Get Support option emails a new password.
  • Wrong name or details: students apply to the course coordinator with supporting documents.
  • Blank re-exam tab: there is no failed subject, or booking is closed.
  • Revaluation page not opening: the browser pop-up blocker must be switched off.

Other result problems go to the exam coordinator and the course coordinator by email. They escalate the case inside the university.
